eMedici FAQ
eMedici comprises a series of patient based cases from across different disciplines in medicine. The cases have been written by experts in the field, senior students, or a collaboration between the two. All cases have been peer-reviewed by content experts and medical educators in a two-stage process.
- What do I need to run eMedici?
- To run Medici you MUST have the latest Shockwave player which is free and available from Adobe. If you receive an error using Shockwave, try the following
- I have just downloaded the Shockwave player. What do I do now?
- Once you have the Shockwave Player register and login at the top right of the web page. If you are a member of a participating University, you may have been given a special access code. Ensure you enter it when you register.
- Can I just have a look at some cases without registering?
- Yes, to view a subset of the learning material in the journal, click on the Sample cases Button.
- How do I register to gain access to the large number of eMedici cases?

- How do I write a new case for eMedici?
- If you wish to write cases for eMedici or would like your institution to have access to the cases please contact the editors.
